Here is what you get
For our 1:1 consulting, we offer a one-hour session over Zoom where you learn exactly how much time off you are entitled to, how much pay you can anticipate receiving, creative options for you to consider to get additional pay/time off based on what we have personally helped and seen women receive, and how to secure all this with the State and your employer.

A quick overview of the process and what you will receive:
Document Review
I set up a private Google Drive folder for you to upload any correspondence with your HR and any employer documents for me to review before our session. I review these with a fine tooth comb to look for every single one of the benefits you can apply to your maternity leave with a full rundown of ways to maximize what your employer offers.
Review & confirm entitlements
We go over all State & Federal time off and wage replacement program entitlements you qualify for and how to extend them for as long as possible in tandem with your employer benefits to get the most paid time off with your baby. (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, SDI, PFL, ADA, FMLA, NDI, etc)
Estimated Pay & Timeline
I calculate your estimated maternity leave pay for all portions of your maternity leave, using both State and any Employer benefits, so you will know exactly how much you will be making and when;
Customized Leave Calculators
I share my screen and run my custom maternity leave calendar calculator to show you your longest and shortest maternity leaves + dates for the different leaves you're entitled to so you have everything you need to submit to your employer and feel certain about your dates;
Maternity Leave Request Template
I will walk you through a customizable maternity leave request email template you can plug your own dates into from our session & send to your employer to document in writing all the important parts of your leave for their approval;
Maternity Leave Extension Template
You receive a maternity leave extension email template to send to your employer for any possible maternity leave extensions you may have;

Maternity Leave Timeline
Maternity leave checklist PDF for important action items while you’re out on your leave- like when and how to file with the state for paid benefits;
